MusicUp - Android Development
A fun educational game developed using the Android development kit.
Basic Java object oriented programming methods and a
state machine for scoring and to avoid duplicate word presentation.
I also designed the interface using Photoshop and After Effects for
some basic animation creation that was easier to do with raster graphics than programmatically.
Band Light Controller - Python + Rasberry Pi + Wiimote + custom circuit
A physical computing method developed to control a light rig for a band using motion the performers were already doing.
Using a Wiimote strapped to the back of an instrument gyroscopic data is captured on the fly over bluetooth then translated using Python into various control methods for the light array. Including intensity, color hue/shift, as well as pre-set scenes that can be called from gestures by the performers.
A simple circuit using mosfets was required to control the light channels seperately from the pulse width modulation pins supplied by the Rasberry Pi.
